BIOGRAPHY
Lawyer
and DJ from Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
Grew up in Africa where he
picked up first impressions of black music and culture.
DJ since 1983/84 always
trying to break new barriers and introduce fresh rhythms and sounds.
Truly
one of the pioneers of Belgrade funk scene in the '80's. In 1987
witnesseth
the awakening of the new Jazz movement emerging from London clubs such
as "The Wag", "Electric Ballroom" and "Dingwalls". Influenced by people
like Gilles Peterson, Dr.Bob Jones, Norman Jay and of course the
legendary
Tony Humphries.
Brought fresh new sounds
into Belgrade clubs, such as "Omen", "Akademia" and the cult "Soul Food
Café", where he hosted thursday night sessions from 1993 to
1996,
as well as radio shows on YU Radio. In April 2001 he restarted his
"Jazz Joint" program on YU Radio for a while and you can catch him
ocassionaly on
Cosmic Sounds Radio Show (Beograd 202).

SOUNDS
Played in one of the
first funk
bands in Yugoslavia in early '80's. Founder of the "Loud Minority"
Belgrade
DJ movement. Supported Patrick Forge in 1995 ("Industria" Belgrade and
"SF Café") and Kevin Beadle in 1996 (also "Industria club" and
the
"SFC". Expert in Soul & Funk, Jazz, Latin, Drum'n Bass and much
more.
Recently moved in production and after couple of brilliant demos he
signed
as a space cadet for COSMIC SOUNDS. His first release came out on
compilation
Belgrade's Burning and it is a club remix of Zeljko Kerleta's 'Running
Fast'. At the moment he works on his debby album that is expecting to
come
out some time next year.
