DUSTY
GROOVE AMERICA
A
great
jazzy number
--
a tight bit of funky fusion from Russia, lifted from the album of the
same
name, but remixed here in 2 great bonus takes! The "La Batteria" mix
has
some great heavy drums and dropped-in vocal samples -- and the "70s
funky"
mix features some tightly riffing guitar, snapping away in a really
wonderful
groove!
JONAS
ALTMAN (Ubiquity)
...it
is
absolutely
breathtaking!
EDDY
RAMICH (Edyy & Dus, Zagreb)
A.
Rostotsky's 12"
is excellent
and I mean it. Da Vibez Boys remix is an absolut floorfiller and I've
been
spinning it at all of my gigs. Recently I was with Rainer Trüby
who
is also amased by that mix and we wondered who are Da Vibez Boys???
MARK
TURNER aka DJ Rocky Rococo (Jazzadelica; Fuel in San Jose)
The
Russian jazz
original
(included here) is an endearingly funky bit of bass riffing, fleshed
out
by some haunting vocal chants and yearning trumpet. Da Vibes Boys and
label
owner Zeljko Kerleta conjure up two dancefloor-friendly remixes. A
promising
start to the series and one that should attract new converts to the
cosmic
jazz sounds of Eastern Europe.
KEYSER (Crate
Soul Brother @ Tilos Radio)
Great
great stuff!!!
I loved
all the two remixes and the original as well. A side is ideal for any
dancefloor
but I will play out your remix as well as much as possible.
HARRY
HOLMES (Propaganda and OHM in Bexleyheath)
I
have
been playing
all
three versions out for three months now at Propaganda and OHM in
Bexleyheath
its a very nice bit of dance music
