Taken from the second remixed Cosmic Sounds compilation its starts off almost veering on cheesy before dropping into a killer beat driven latin monster of a tune.Essential.

RAW DEAL @ Groove Sanctuary
Oh, lovely, Butti 49 do it again & again.... a fine remix indeed.

JAZZMATE @ leftofcentre
dusko's 'quo vadis samba' is for me simply the most famous & representative yugoslav jazzdance tune, something like 'grandma's rocking chair' for scandinavian jazz-fusion. it is great to see it 'reshaped' for the nu-jazz-headz-generation, and both reworks are excellent. zeljko keeps it more deep & dark adding some spicey percussion and his own vocal samples too (!) while butti49 transforms it inna 100% dancefloor-compatible latinjazz burner. wicked!

MARK 'XANGO' of 'Satelliet'
On the butti 49 - remix. Some girl in a particular club came to me when playing this one and said: "Hey, can you play it forever? Dancing to this feels like I'm in heaven!" "Well", I said, "the ones who made this old masterpiece sounding like heaven are from up above, so..." Superb!

Vojislav Zivanovic
Magnificent, so fresh, so sophisticated, so great. I was so young to listen to Mr Gojkovic when he composed and performed his great tune 'Quo Vadis Samba'. BUTTI did their own version and I was so excited when I heard it for the first time. Roll on Zeljko...
MARCO (London)
First heard in the big club in Copenhagen in May 03. Had to buy it. Like candy floss! The orig is lovely too!
